TomTom One XL has a bright screen and pre-loaded maps of the right of the box. It also reflects the location quickly and has built in Bluetooth capability. The main difference between the XL and the first is that the XL has a large screen of 4.3 "compared to predecesser is 3.5" and an option for real-time traffic through a Bluetooth enabled device like a cell phone. This unit is compact and very portable.

What's great about the TomTom One XL GPS?

The TomTom ONE XL has a large, bright touch screen and comes with preloaded maps right of the box. This unit takes place rapidly and has built in Bluetooth. This also allows you to add optional services, such as traffic and real-time weather always and when you have a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. I do not think this service is available in the United States at this time. Also, there will always be available if not in the U.S. for this device. It has a variety of routes such as quickest, shortest, no toll roads, highways and more. This GPS also speaks very clear instructions.

What is not so good about the TomTom ONE XL?

The unit has text-to-speech capability. Restaurants are not listed by type in the POI database. It is easy to see contact information. The menus are a little laborous pass. Not be used for Bluetooth hands-free.

There is a power button on top of the unit, which is easy to press.

The TomTom has the power input mini-USB / at the bottom.

It has a 2D view and 3D map as with most GPS nowadays.

This unit uses an internal battery lithium ion that the manufacturer estimates will last for 2 hours, but includes a car power adapter.

The TomTom ONE XL offers numerous points of interest, gas stations, motels, restaurants, ATMs, beaches and concert venues. However there is no easy way to find these places unless you are browsing the map.

You have a choice between 55 different voices with different accents that are built into the device.

What the TomTom ONE XL offers ease of use is a large bright touch screen, clear instructions, and quickly find their location.

In my opinion this is not a bad GPS, but you can get more for the same price in other GPS units.
