I have owned several brands of GPS, including Garmin and Mio. It still has the best routing! It always seems to choose a route that would choose a local driver. Some local drivers may even learn some roads better with this thing. The text to speech voice works well. Like TomTom, it is very easy to customize based on the information you want to display on the screen. The screen could be better. The windshield does not as safe as we would like. I use Arkon Vent Mount. (CD Hess) Do not run the free software update map on this device. The card, he will give you greater than the internal hard drive, and it will clear map of the coming forward of what is happening. I'm returning my unit for the exchange, I still unused.
