GPS Navigation for iPhone?
I want a GPS navigation system, and I'm trying to decide if it would be more economical to get a GPS device or download one of GPS applications for iPhone. I noticed that TomTom navigation kit for iPhone costs a hundred dollars, and I was wondering if it is necessary to buy the kit with the application or if the application works quite well for itself? The software is sold separately and by buying the kit and APA would be a bit expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions as to whether I should get this or any other type of navigation system of the iPhone? If you used another brand and I think it was better to recommend please! Thank you for any response!
It would be cheaper to get the GPS unit:) Like most GPS at the price range of $ 100 have a 4.3 "screen (Not multi-touch, but whatever), a stand, and maps downloaded already. GPS Navigation TomTom app itself works on the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3G, iPhone and 4, but on the original iPhone and iPod touch, you will need navigation kit because they do not have integrated GPS. More personally, I want use my iPhone as a phone is not GPS. It's a bit weird. The app is really great, but the concept is somehow a bit weird. The Thing is, it is useful when your in someone else's car and they Do not have GPS, you'd probably have your phone with you.
